Arising from the ancient teachings of Siddhartha Gautama ("The Buddha"), it is currently the 4th largest religion in the world, with over 495 million adherents, representing 7 percent of the global population spread out across nearly every country in the world. It is most prominent in East and Southeast Asia but its influence is growing in the West. Many Buddhist ideas and philosophies overlap with those of other faiths.
The Four Noble Truths will help you to gain a better understanding of Buddhism. The Four Nobel Truths comprise of the Buddhas teachings. As the name suggests, it gives you four main truths from Buddha. These truths are the truth of suffering, the truth of how you can end suffering, the cause of your suffering and the path of truth which leads you to end suffering.
